As a French , i feel that Louis XI is underdevelopped but he was one of the best and smartest king in Europe. Seeing him who outsmarted his vassals , allies , ennemies alike and who beat the english not with swords but with money, uniting the country and breaking the powerful duchies like Burgundy ,Brittany and even his own brother , having only the machiavellian trait and just 2 diplomatic skill. He was better than his father so if i a gree about his military 2 (even if he reformed the french army), he should have a 6 or 5 diplomacy skill .The spider king is a predecessor of Cesare Borgia and his only losses was in the Flanders.
