This post is about an proposal for economic side of the game. Since devs mentioned that they are going to add some stuff to economic side, and they don't want to turn the game into a statistics and numbers game, I have a nice idea for that: Budgetting, which would give some certain buffs while eventually increasing consumer good factories as an option. Three levels will be in each sections of budgetting : normal, extra, super (normal will add no modifiers extra will add some and superfunding will give nice buffs). Don't worry it is not adding money to the game.
I say that main idea is to find a unique way of playing for different scenerios and contries while not getting overcomplicated. For me who has 660+ hours, feel less excited about the game because it starts repetation. I know that there will be some meta guys that will find the meta again but nevertheless this would change economy management to be different in different countries and times (starting, early war, mid war, late war).
These are some examples that I have found (number should be increased or nerfed, these are just for getting the idea.)
- Mass Industrialization (Consumer Good Factories +5/+10): Infrastructure Building Speed +10/+15, Factory Building Speed +5/+10, Nuclear Reactor Building Speed +5/+10
- Increasing the Quality of Heavy Industry Materials/Equipments (Consumer good factories + 5 / +10) : Factory output +5 / +15, Dockyard Output +5/+15
- Funding of the Harbours (naval base in game) and Dockyards (Consumer: Good Factories +5/+10) : Dockyard Output +5/ +10, Supply from Naval Bases +(I don't know the modifier of it)
- Governmental Fund of Technology Development /Experiments (Consumer Good factories +3/+6) : Research Speed +5/+10
- Special Option of Nuclear Funding (Find a name for that anyone pls) (Consumer good factories +7/+15) : Nuclear Research Speed +5/+10 , Nuclear Reactor Building Speed+5/10, Nuclear Bomb Building Speed+5/+10) this would be opened with something rather than being generic
- Funding a Defensive Plan (Consumer Good Factories +4/+8) : Fort Building Speed +5/+10, Max Planning +5, Defence on Core Territory + 5 (for some time if execuded more than one year (max planning and defence buffs)
and some more...
I don't know which is better but they can be both like totally changable ( I mean at any time and condition) or it can be something like "4 Year Plan" and changable in some periods. But my ultimate proposal is making it changable but if you change it too much in a small time period (like 5 times a year) causing some debuffs to your economy.

And also some special options like:
- Standardise the equipment : Cost reduction, less attrition for that equipment (think the Soviet and German examples, Germany didn't standardise most of the equipment in early and mid war and had serious logistical problems because they couldn't find spare parts, while USA and USSR was not having that much of a problem, standardising equipment dramatically increases the logistical capabilities for spare parts) but loosing the ability to make a variant for this equipment/vehicle for that spesific time period
- Simplify equipment : reduce cost while also reducing the reliablity and breaktrough (if it has breaktrough modifier) (examining late war Germany and Volksturm) (Not usable with trains, support equipments etc.)
I think that this would eventually increase the deepness of economic affairs in game from "Just build civilian factories until 1938, than turn into military". What are your thoughts? I am open to any ideas to improve and constructive criticisms.
