Given we take a damage and we don't have that much room to spare, we can't aford to risk this to the DD, so we going to need to trigger the CHIEF OF STAFF. King if you can do that, we can start our plays on this test again. We do need a comfortable overshoot on this skill test.

I think he meant to finish the discussion and start throwing in cards.

It is certainly valid to play Chief of Staff. The usual convention is that if something like CoS (or Scientific Research for example) is used than players who played before get a chance to take that into account before the check is resolved. Turning a strong sabotage into a massive unintended boost in a skill check wouldn't be very nice after all. Investigative Committee certainly complicates things but in this case there will not be any impact on already played cards (and Dexander doesn't draw POL either).

Thanks for posting what I thought yesterday. Just get going guys, there is a destiny deck, it is not an exact science, a non-critical test.

My preload stands since Saturday, I really would love to have a go at another game in May.
