I can't really help with this one, don't look at me.
I can add one strong to the check to compensate - but that's about it. Someone else will have to carry the brunt of this.
I have two cards that could go into this check. One is strong, one is weak.
I should mention have one strong and one weak but both are more useful for their abilities. Though if we have to, in they'll go.
I have 2 weak or I could sci-res it.
Scientific research probably wouldn't help. You're the only one who has drawn ENG so far. ;-)
It might offset the DD but that's a bit of a long shot.
Anyway, I count 3 strong, 4 weak, for a minimum of 16 points (3x4 + 4x1) against DC 9.
That should be plenty, really. Possibly a lot of overkill given that I doubt everyone has minimum strength cards ;-)
Question is: Should we? Every non-cylon leader draws 5 cards each turn, so spending more than that on a crisis is a bit so-so, especially this early.
So I gather that King could lose while we also lose, leading to a game where only the unlead cyclones win?
It's "Cylons".
And in fact, it's theoretically possible for *everyone* to lose in a game of BSG.
You see: Not all loyalty cards have been dealt out yet, so if the humans lose before the sleeper phase (when most of the remaining loyalty cards are dealt out) it's possible for all of the players to be human when the game ends.
It's rare, but apparently not impossible.
