Note that we don't really know what side King is on. Odds are 2 in 3 that's he's on our side, but even then he starts on Caprica instead of a human location.

As far as I can see, his options are:
- Activating the human fleet
* to infiltrate - which doesn't really tell us anything about his allegiance, imho.
* or to manipulate the crisis and/or destination decks - ditto, but we can probably check what he did afterwards.
- Activating Caprica - which actually can be pro-human, considering any crisis he draws does get prep but doesn't get cylon ship activations. Not sure the human fleet isn't better, though, with the 2-card draw attached to that.
- Activating either of the remaining locations - both of which scream "Evil cylon", really. Plus, his character drawback means activating cylon ships is a tad painful ;-)

Personally as a Good cylon leader I would go for the human fleet and dig through the decks - It's the start of the game and card counts are quite low, so that is pretty much the risk-free option.
It depends a bit on the specific goal though, as one of the 'humans win' conditions requires the cylon leader to be infiltrating at the end of the game. But then there is no rush ..

Yeah, digging through cards seems to be the best move, it can also help with resource/Viper management necessary for other goals. But why are we helping that Cylon?

She's a not a regular cylon - she's a Cylon leader. Cylon leaders don't draw loyalty cards, they draw an agenda. In this case, King got one card from the following set:

page 1 said:
Sympathetic Agenda Deck

You win the game if...

Guide Them to Destiny: The humans have won and Population and Morale are within 2 of each other.
Convert the Infidels: The humans have won and all resources are at 3 or lower.
Join the Colonials: The humans have won and you are Infiltrating and not in the Brig/Detention.
Prove Their Worth: The humans have won and at least 5 raptors/vipers are destroyed or damaged.
Salvage Their Equipment: The Cylons have won and 2 or fewer locations are damaged.
The Illusion of Hope: The Cylons have won and 6 or more units of distance have been traveled.

As you can see, only two of those six cards have "The Cylons have won" as a victory condition. So there's a rather decent chance she's working with the humans, rather than against them.
Which is why I am going over the options available. It's especially interesting because we don't use Cylon Leaders often, and the case of a Cylon Leader starting is even more rare.

Regarding Six, the best approach for us is to wait and see. With the very first action there is very little she can do that is actually painful for us.

What I've noticed is that we are a bit light on pilots this time. My Kat is the only one and even she is more useful onboard Pegasus/Galactica.

Yes. Two political leaders, 1 support, 1 military leader, 1 pilot.
And I'm not sure Gaeta counts entirely as a military leader, with the potential to draw just as much POL as Baltar does.
But military leaders aren't quite so critical. If you turn out to be or become a cylon this game may get interesting for team human ;-)

Quite bad.
I'm guessing he has the "Salvage their equipment" agenda, since that is the only one that really pushes for going all-out like that.
At least the crisis has prep on it ..

Anyway: We have a fresh DD, so that's probably against us. I can add one strong to the check to compensate - but that's about it. Someone else will have to carry the brunt of this.
Does anyone have a Support the People? Playing that would be pretty much ideal right now, since nobody has more than 3 cards in hand..
