I can do 1 weak for this one, though I would like to keep that one, but since I hate the fail effect, I do have Iron Will that I can help with as well.
Thoughts?
Secrecy rules means you cannot state iron will because it is played into the skill check rather than played before the skill check. However this time just leave it there since a few probably has seen it already.
Just to clarify:
It is OK to say you have things like guts and initiatives or investigative committee, because you play those before the skill check publicly.
You should avoid talking about things like iron will and trust instincts because they go into the skill checks and hence are subject to secrecy rules.

That not exactly how I interpret the rules on it,this is how I read it. You can say that you have a Trust Int and Iron will if someone asks you about it, but you can't confirm that you are going to play it. So someone could ask if someone could Iron will it( Like you can ask if someone can play XO, SP, IC, PP or any of those) , and they can say yes under the Skill Card Abilities section of Secrecy rules, but they can't say that they did put an Iron will into the test, only that they can.
To quote the rule
So saying that you can Iron will a skill test should be fine, unless you want us to all sit around and wait for everyone to ask if anyone can iron will the skill test. Because if you can't do that, you can't ask if someone can SP a roll as that would be after you decide to take the action that they played the card. You can't ask if someone can repair something as they would be playing repair after you xo them, or things like that.
The rules don't say that you can't list Iron will because that is triggered in a skill test. They say you can't list values or colors or types of cards you play into a skill test, but I would not say that you can't say that you can iron will the skill test, you just can't confirm if you did or not. Only that you can do so.
Playing a card and saying it is an iron will would certainly be wrong. But saying that you can iron will the test if we like, then playing a card is fine, as it not clear if the card is an iron will or not. Ir more likely to be one, but you could say the same thing about a person that has one card, said that they could sp a roll during that turn and they decided to not make the roll and he plays 1 cards into the test. It likely would be an SP, but and under you ruling there, he would have to hold it back because everyone would know what it likely is.

If the majority of the play group want to allow people mentioning iron will, that's fine with me, I can go with this in the future if 2 more people say they want to do it the other way. Although that somewhat turns iron will into a really strong card since it will be positive for all skill checks and are worth 4 strengths.
