Well, not exactly the best crisis I want to see right now. I am leaning towards option 2 because by placing the basestar there, it would slow down the persuit track, the problem though is how are we going to get rid of 9 civ ships with 2 cylons running around. Boomer and Tory, any suggestions?

If we go with option 2. The CAG does not have to place a civilan ship, as something happens on active raiders. Namely the basestar launches a few of them. As for clearing them up. Our CAG can hop in a viper vII, and send a unmanned to that location and start pulling them off.

I suggest that we do go with option 2.

It's a bit of a shame that cylon / human strategy discussion tends to disappear off the board once the cylons have been revealed. I bet it would make some mighty fine reading.

And given that Jacob isn't back yet - personally, Kiwi, you have two options;
(I know, I'm listing more than that down below, but frankly those are the only two options worth persuing, imho.)

1) Flee.
Take your marbles and go home. The main danger here is the humans executing you guys, especially via quorum cards. This is the safe option, but it's also the least fun.

2) The brigging game.
Try to throw as many humans in the brig as possible through the AQ. This has a number of advantages, the least of which is that you can get admiral back that way, as well as burning them through cards that they need. If you are successful here you can do a rather large amount of damage, even if you don't actually brig them. Brigged characters can't be admiral and can only play 1 card into skill checks, on top of getting that human back into the game means the humans needing to spend actions and cards to get that player back out again.
If this strategy is successful it can completely annihilate the humans. Seriously.
Drawback: If you fail, the humans get to try to throw you guys off the ship, instead.

3) Executing humans for fun and profit.
Nice, but it isn't nearly as effective as the brig, IMHO. It also costs them cards and morale, but the effects from brigging someone are bigger, imho.

4) Some combination. I brigged someone as part of a reveal, some games back. That's nice, but it also means giving up on getting control of the ship.

5) Activating locations other than AQ and the airlock:
Not so much of an option, really. At best you can get some cards or perhaps take the presidency.

As for who to brig - the president is the most dangerous here, when it comes to fighting for control of the fleet. Tori can farm a lot of cards through XO's and potentially hurt you guys through quorum cards. Making that one less effective should take priority here.

By the way, is this a game with a symphatizer? Or are we using some variant here?
