Yep, no dice. Had to say it was a long shot anyway.

Is there much of a chance of passing if we go for Airlock? For time purposes I think I will only wait for either Boomer or Tory to respond before I make my decision for my turn.

Plan A: We go for airlock

Plan B: I move to Command and use OPG to take Admiral from Helo

Plan C: Do something hardly useful and hope Helo's nuke didn't kill the civ ships. (I am not a fan of this plan)

When did our GM got turned into a toaster as well? :p

Woot, finally Helena Cain showed up in the series. But now I can't act in-character for her since she is dead here. :(

I support Plan C oddly enough. Lets brig J-L on this turn, we don't have enough to airlock either of them, but once we get one of them in the brig the other will be easier.

You do realise with strategic planning and calculation, they have a 50% chance to kill 4 civ ships on their turn right? The other problem of your plan is you sure we can fight against 2 unrevealed cylons for the brig skill check?

We have to hit the test hard, but I think we are more likely to hit it then the Airlock test. I don't think they have good odds of having a SP and a Cal for the nuke roll anyway. But if they do that, it still might not do anything. Meaning that Helo just waste his turn when he could do something like reveal and kill another person or send one of us to the brig. J-L Might just reveil to do the same on his turn.

The question is how hard do you think we can hit the airlock test? I only have 3 weak in hand for the airlock, but 4 weak in hand for the Brig. I guess air-locking Helo would be ideal if we can pull it off. But we need to see what we have for it.

The cards I hold is ok for either airlock or Brig, the best I can do is make engineering positive so they can't spike with that. The biggest problem is they will spike it with all the leadership card they have.

As far as I am concerned it should be either Airlock Helo (virtually risk this game on the skill check) or me OPG to grab Admiral. The question that needs to be asked is how likely we are in terms of passing the airlock skill check and whether the situation is dire enough that we as humans have to push the "all-in" button where if we miss with the airlock, there is a good chance the game will end with a Cylon victory.

EDIT: While brigging Cally is very doable, but I am still having real difficulty to understand the cost vs benefit analysis in this case. We are risking 4 civ ships + a nuke to brig a Cylon?

Brigging Cally means a lot less cards that the Cylons can bring to the skill tests. Yes we are risking that Helo gets an 8 on a die roll to blow up 4 civilan ships. But the largest population loss is from civiian ships. So losing those 4 well painful is not the end of the game. Brig J-L gets us a lot closer to our goals of removing them and J-L might just reveal on his turn. Plus it puts you in place to throw Helo in next turn as well.

I can somewhat get behind this (risky) idea, so we are risking at least a 3/8 chance the nuke will hit the civ ships. This turn is turning out much more complicated than I was thinking (originally was thinking to go to Command and use OPG to grab Admiral), so if you and GM doesn't mind I want Boomer to have a say first. (I know I won't be happy if I wake up the next day and notices 6 pop went missing, which just kills Gaeta's special ability + want to see how much can Boomer contribute towards a brig or possibly airlock.)

Fine by me, we're going to end up waiting on jL anyway so no need to rush it.

I'd rather not deplete my TAC hand on an airlock check. I could contribute a significant amount, but I don't think we should start trading our skill cards for Cylons' skill cards. It's going to end up badly for us... As to the Brigging check, I couldn't help at all. Getting the admiral title away from Helo is the top priority at the moment. If we take it away from him now, what's the worst thing he can do? Maybe try to execute/brig one of us...

By the way, if the President comes across a Presidential Pardon, please save it for the sleeper phase, I'm going to need it.

We won't be trading cards that much though, they can only spike airlock with piloting and leadership (I will make engineering positive if that's what we try)
