Basically, making sure we don't have things like players from the last game.

I would just like to say I liked how in the last game the players names were orange so you can easily spot where they are on the ship.

To be fair, they aren't called split draws in the rules so you wouldn't find anything if you search for that keyword.

Yep i searched keyword thats my reaction, i shouldnt expected to it be named split draw and should instead study the card drawing part.
Stocking up on quorum cards is the most sensible thing to do as a human. Lets try this.
Play Leadership-1 (Executive Order) on President Roslin madchemist.
Next question: do I take those actions now, or do I need to wait for my turn?
If not, then draw 2 quorum cards. (I'd do it via the president's office, but that would require me to dump skill cards, which I'm none too eager to do).
Depends on your cards. If you have consolidate power 1-2 strength cards you can discard them. Two Quorum cards is a good enough call.
When you are the target of an XO, you get to do this immediately.
Move to a new location or take an action.
Then
Take an action.
Most people use this to do two actions but you can do it to move out of where you are (Say you are in sickbay), then take an action.
Also, you are allowed to wait on the results of an action before you do your next action.
So you could draw 1 Quorum card, see what it is and decide to draw another or play it.
Right.
