New Caprica plays differently since the resource dynamic is altered. Fuel is not as deciding when going to distance 7 so you can afford to be more wasteful. Population OTOH - or rather the civvie ship/population symmetry - is probably the most important thing as that determines when you can (safely) escape from New Caprica and needs to managed carefully. You also got to ensure that the Admiral is loyal and doesn't kill you there outright. Morale stays very important as the NC crisis deck likes to target that stat.

Just so you are aware: per action on the Communications location you can take a look at and move 2 civvies.

If you want to "game" a possible raider activation by moving the civilian ships around, you could think about moving the civvie in CHARLIE to BRAVO. The mass in ALPHA would move to BRAVO and give the ships "below" Galactica some breathing room. The problem is that if the raiders activate the then dead civvie in BRAVO together with 5 dead civvies in DELTA could cost you the game right there. Even if you survive the resource loss would be substantial.

The nice thing about a jump, is he only thing that does not cause Sector 8, aka Alpha to immediately attack again is an activate heavy. Every other ship is loaded on the Cylon Fleet Board.

If there is a destination that places a basestar, take that. I don't think glass would've kept it, but those are the best in this situation.

EL - you think I should still take fuel away? That would help their population situation though.

Yea, go ahead and do it. It somewhat helps the population situation, but it will make the fuel situation critical. Don't forget they have 9 civlian ships worth of population with only 6 current population. So even with that, they will be in bad shape. More so if the Die helps us here.
