Is it just me or is the AI insanely aggressive and more intelligent? I can't survive as a single county any more. I get gobbled up in the first 30 min of game time. Is it just me?

Yeah, they seem more aggressive to me as well. I love it. Just gotta watch your back. No more conquering Ireland from somewhere in Africa without making sure that you can get back to defend your lands against some opportunistic enemy... or vassal.
That comes as a relief to me actually. I thought the AI before Reaper's Due was a little too passive.

I have noticed that AI has become rather opportunistic. Whenever I attack someone, at least 3 other dudes dogpile my target.
It was almost too little and now it's too much. I use to SURVIVE and prosper starting as a single county. No more. Only ducal tittles and above.....
