Broken save

Been doing a multiplayer game with a friend of mine. Myself playing milan and them playing teutonic order. Played it since the first day leviathan launched. After saving from a 5 hour session today, upon trying to reload any saves we made today, it simply tells both of us that neither country exists and the world is blank upon trying to load the saves. I have formed Italy and he has formed prussia. Was just wondering if theres a way to repair the save so it works of it its a bug with no work around. Thanks very much to any idea / tips

This needs fixing immediately. It is not acceptable the way it is. And we should not have to wait till next week.

Thanks for the tip but we didn't use the continue button and also tried the method in the video. All saves made today return with invalid save file. We could jump back the days progress but knowing it will just happen again ruins the enthusiasm.
