I am making an alteration to VIP Vicky where Brittany is present in the game. I started playing Brittany during CK and I continued through EU3. I am currently prepping Vicky and Hoi2 to have Brittany in the game.
While I have my own issues with making Brittany in Hoi2, I successfully added it to Vicky (non Revolutions) rather easily thanks to Dumber's Guide.
What I am having problems with though, is events. I want Brittany to be an active, medium level nation in western Europe, akin to Belgium, Holland, Denmark, etc.
In EU3, I was able to get France to renounce any claim to Brittany, but I am not opposed to having Napoleon III trying to retrieve the territory if I could somehow work that into the campaign somewhere.
This Brittany also managed to colonize Newfoundland and had a really good relationship with the natives, so there is a substantial native population in Newfoundland, which in the AAR I am working on, is called Nouvelle Bretagne.
So I guess what i am looking for from this community are some events I could program to add to Vicky that would give Brittany a bit of some flavor.
I don't need the events per se, unless you happen to have some interesting ones listed, just some ideas. I have a few marinating in my brain, but more couldn't hurt.
