What is this this entity? I've seen it in a couple of AARs, but I don't see it in any of the campaigns or scenarios and I don't see where it is creatable in my game (Ricky). Is it some sort of Dominion only found in Vicky or is it a VIP thing?

It's a state permanently allied to ENG in game, not in a dominion or satellite relationship, as that would limit the foreign policy potential of IND (which is important as many of the conflicts that expanded British influence in Asia came as a result of concerns and decisions in Calcutta, not London. From Afghanistan to Burma to Tibet, the "frontier" was a concern handled in the main by policy makers in Calcutta first, deferring to London if dispute arose but generally with London supporting Calcutta's decisions (the Tibet intervention of 1904 being a famous example of where communications between London and Calcutta failed)

Eh, they're not "unbeatable", definitively not. Although they have an amazing manpower capacity, keep in mind that less than 1% of their population is national (as IND's only culture is British), which reduces general soldier reliability a lot and their POPs only produces half their normal output, in top of not being able to convert POPs into soldiers under any circumstance (although they already start with lots of these IIRC). They can't really keep up with maintaining a juggernaut army (if modern). Of course, they're a huge pain to invade, but if I were to be a nearby power, I wouldn't be much concerned.Jagdmaus said:Army-wise, British India is an invincible, unstoppable force, btw. That's my observation. I don't think anyone else on the planet stands a chance against them. Only one that could compete with that kind of manpower & number of divisions would be China. But alas the teched up, well-trained regulars of the Indian army cut through the Chinese Irregular ranks like a hot knife through butter. Into Mongolia, Manchuria, etc. However far they feel like going. Years of war. IND still at 0.1% war exhaustion. Unbeatable. Here I am a Russian powerhouse, and I'm genuinely afraid of them.
