James didn't try to rule England from Edinburgh, so it would be strange to assume that Britain would be ruled from Dublin in any such scenario. England would be the wild lion in that relationship and you'd need the royal court to be in London to keep control of it all. If you were permanently in Dublin, that leaves some ambitious little regent running England from London on your behalf. It would be like trying to rule Byzantium from Sicily instead of Constantinople. Not exactly smart.

Yes and who would chose to rule an empire from Sicily ;-)

Just wait, on CKII I am actually working on breaking France, Normandy and Picardy are already mine and with breton culture.

Although English im interested in what is going to happen to my British empire ruled by the Yorkist Hwicce with capital in york ruling Great Britain, northern Africa, Mali, southern Spain, Aquitaine and the papacy as a vassal? Will capital stay where it is? Will cultures stay what they are? What about money how is that figured? fleets? army's?

What happens if it's a breton Britannia with no english or anglo-saxon culture left, and Nantes as capital?

Unless Paradox has put some thought into this, which seems unlikely given what they've so far stated about the converter, your people will magically start using English names and have an 'English Civil War', even if the English culture has never existed in your game.

With this and the lack of tech/tax/building conversion, I have a feeling the converter is going to need a lot of modding to be as awesome as it could have been.
