Britain. Would you take Africa or help France?

Lets say you were playing as Britain (my favorite country to play as) and WW2 breaks out. You have 500k troops and 350k of those are reserve. Where will you send the majority of those? (Keep in mind that you have none in France and none in Africa) Personally I am in a game right now with a friend in HoI3 and I had 200k in Africa and 123k in Europe and won in Africa due to keeping the Italian fleet out of action but the new AI may be better in HoI4.

I would focus on Africa, France is lost anywyas so why should i waste more troops?

and because of the strategical importance of especially egypt of course

(but maybe in one run i will try to safe france)

Send most of them in North Africa, don't even bother with France unless you send almost all of them there. Personally I would send them all in Africa and scatter the remaining in my empire, perhaps even send a few to Greece after I take over north Africa so I create a new front there to keep them busy.

Depends on how much it takes to save France because if you can prevent France from falling it would make the war very short.

Turn fascist and take France and the old colonies (aka USA) back!
