I don't think this has been suggested and I got the idea when CS trapped me & killed my plans. :D
I wanted to connect the 2 metro stations below :

But I can't :(

Thus, it would be great if this could be added to the game. :)

(...But maybe this is also planned in the forthcoming patch ...? )

I think they should do something to fix this prob. either under riverbed, either bridge.... I find it a bit strange to get it under riverbeds for small distance... Bridge sounds better to me...

Sorry I thought you meant about it being a tunnel not a bridge? Which is why I said there is a high chance it would be in the next patch as that patch includes tunnels.

To me it makes more sense to have a tunnel under the river than to bring the train back to the surface though it would be good to have the option to bring it to the surface to have surface rail as well :)

at least i think for their work is better to get it under (less work because metro)
...but I don't know, it looks a bit strange to me on small distance, not a big deal tho... Main matter is this problem to be fixed. :)

to have surface rail as well :)
Yes, it would be nice... let's hope tramway & other vehicles soon at last...

Well, just wondering if any progress has been made by modders, or whether there has been any news about such a feature? I take it trams will have bridges, but why not include them for the subway too?
I want this:

This would be the perfect place for such a bridge:

Instead I have to snake my way down to the bottom of the river, not very realistic or economical:

There is no need for that twisting, just start descending from the station on the right and then back up on the other side. I have never had to do anything like your pic to get a subway tunnel under the river. The problem you will have is if you are right next to the river and then try and go underneath it.
