Josephus sits alone at a dusty bar; well not quite alone; there IS a bartender happy that he's got a customer
Hey Lloyd, Oi, I remember when this place was just bustling with activity. I guess that tawdry sports bar up the road has taken all the business.
Orders a beer from the bartender
Thanks, Lloyd. Boy it's almost as quiet here as my ESRP HQ.
Looks around
I dunno, Lloyd, maybe it's time for me to make a political move of some sort. I do aspire to something grand politically, you know. Maybe I ought to leave the ESRP...I'm sure other parties would love to have me.
What's that, Lloyd? Would I be happy in another Party? I dunno Lloyd. I mean no other Party would give me the leeway I currently have to print all that anti-establishment rhetoric in the Eutopian Worker. And I do enjoy it, you know. I enjoy stirring the pot somehow. But I'm not sure if the ESRP membership has the passion it once had, know what I'm saying?
What's that Lloyd? The beer's on the house? my money's no good here? Thanks, thanks a lot good buddy. Yeah, you're right, I'll think about it for a while...talk to Wendy and Danny back at the Overlook. See what they say. I'm not going to make any rash decision, I promise you that.
Damn, I think the boiler's about to blow.
