Breakthrough is a nice modus and it is for free! At its current state I see it as a single player experience, since I can't play together with friends. It makes great fun. However I have two wishes, which should be simple to do as they are already available for skirmish:

1) When I press “esc” the menu is shown but the battle carries on. Please add a real pause.

2) I am not an experienced player so I like to play slow. Thus a mission can take some time. That means a save possibility would be really nice.

I think the game balance might be improved a bit if the attacker phase A points were doled out over the first four minutes of the game rather than given at the very start, so that a bum rush will typically hit when the defender phase B reinforcements come.

I think its much to easy to be the attacker atm. 1000 p more for 20 mins, armored artillery against soft arty (as its armoured decks vs inf decks) and 3000 goal to win for the defender are just to much to reach. make it 700-800 points more for the attacker and change the goal to reach for the defender to 2000. I played 20+breakthrough games with my friend now and the attacker never lost ones yet. we played each map and I think also nearly each version (allies or axis attack) ). It is a super fun game mode but no matter how good your defensiv positions are, against enough arty + number advantage its nearly impossible to hold. We most of the time can hold the other one till the beginning of c but than the loses are to high, thanks to bomber attacks and arty on at guns that it gets impossbile to defend.

I'd like to see Breakthrough expanded to team games, I'd like to play this in 3v3/4v4.
Breakthrough is so fun I love it. Its super hard. I personally like defending most (I think I need to see and try more attacking strategies to decide if I actually like that). I would lovbe for a team battle version of it but I can see why there isn't one, because the amount of points started, how big maps would be, etc.
