I'm kind of confused here. My truce with Aragon has expired, and I want to attack them. They are allied with France and Portugal (both of whom I have truces with), as well as the Papal State which is an OPM in Gelre (who I can't declare on directly because of the Proclaim Erbkaisertum imperial reform, but this hasn't prevented me from declaring on allies of HRE members so far). But when I go to declare war on Aragon, it says I'll suffer a -3 stability penalty for breaking the truce. This has already happened to me once this game, when I declared war on Hungary to form a personal union after our truce had expired, while fighting a separate war involving two Hungarian allies.
Is it because I have a truce with Aragon's allies? Is it because I tried vassalizing them diplomatically, then changed my mind and revoked my guarantee? I never saw a truce pop up when that happened, even though the tooltip says revoking a guarantee produces a truce. Could there just be an invisible truce that's not showing up?
