Is there a way to break an alliance between two independent nations? I'm playing a Prussia>Germany game and I just need to take a province from the Hansa to form Germany, but they are allied with Hungary (HRE) and Lithuania, which in my game is HUGE and has Sweden in a PU, Sweden controls all of scandinavia -.- Any way to at least get Lithuania out of the way?

The only real option is to get an alliance with one of the countries you want to get out of the way, then declare war on someone they aren't going to get a defensive CtA from, call them to arms, then declare war on your true prey.

You could also try declaring a war on someone who would call the Hansa to help them rather than on the Hansa directly. It can be a bit risky with cascading alliances though!
