Brazil conquest of the South Americas?

Latin American infrastructure and IC was a bad joke in HOI3, and I wouldn't expect it to be different in IV. Uniting the entire place would probably put you on par with China or Italy, its just not valuable territory, and Brazilian research and leadership is exceedingly poor. Not even remotely close to being a world power though, even assuming you united the place very early on, its doubtful that you could take on any major one on one, and building a navy on par with the US is pretty much out of the question unless you completely ignore the air force and army.

Also in Hoi4 you can wage war in the South Americas all you want.
If 2 countries are guaranteed by the same country they can wage war between eachother without interuptions.
So its free for all in South America.

I won't dispute the initial situation, but I don't think it's likely that USA will retain its guarantees and protective attitude if Brazil (or any other South American country) adopts an ideology offensive to them or begins expansionist warfare under their noses. You might find yourself losing your guarantee if you're not careful.
