This is my first AAR so I hope that you will be overseeing with minor mistakes.
The AAR is on my IGC2.0 Brandenburg, Hard/Aggressive.
Part 1
The period under the rule of:
Johann Cicero 1492-1499
January
I enter the hall of the castle just after the ceremony where I was made first advisor of the king. It is time to make Brandenburg a more powerful kingdom, one that will be feared by its neighbours. I start looking at the map of the surroundings and ask my predecessor which countries that are our neighbours we have a CB on, he tells me it is Pommeria, Polen-Lithuania and Bohemia. Interesting…I decide that I will focus on Pommeria and Polen-Lituania. So I ask my predecessor, Pommeria and Polen, do they have any allies? He answers that Pommeria is allied with The Hansiatic League and Holstein. Polen does not at the moment have any allies. Good, no allies…that makes Polen my main target at the moment. So I look at the military status and decide it is to small, I immediately draft 10k new infantry in Brandenburg, to ad to my standing army. So do we have any allies? They tell me no. That is not good, if we are to go to war with and empire of Polens size, it would be advisable to have at least one ally. I start looking at the map again…hmmm…the relations with Thüringen is excellent, I decide to us that and ask them to enter an alliance, they accept. On the war front I hear rumours that the Ottoman Empire have declared war on the Mamelucks, but I think that maybe the Ottomans have done a mistake there. Because France, Bretagne and Savoie enters the war on the Mamelucks side. This could be interesting but it will not affect me anyway. Another war starts, Polen declares on Russia and The Crimean Tatars and Pskov enters on Russias side. EXCELLENT, this is just what I need. I start drawing up war plans for an attack on Polen. It is soon time to show the might of the Brandenburg soldiers.
February
Rumours come to my attention that Kazan has ended their vassalship with Russia and Russia immediately declares war on them. The Crimean Tatars, Ryazan and Pskov joins Russia in the quest.
Spain have also won the war over Granada and annex them.
April
My plans for a war against Polen is now entering its end face, and I start moving my troops into Kustrin to the Polish border. I now look for another ally, and find a bigger one, Hungary, they would be perfect. So I send my best diplomat there and soon get a positive answer, they are in. Perfect.
May
A month of preparations, the army is collecting supplies and I’m giving the final orders of preparations to the commanders. After awhile a messenger enters, he tells me he is from Kurphalz and offers a royal marriage, I accept in the hopes that I will be able to us this later on.
June
It is time!!! I give the order to my main commander, March!!! Then I give a message to an envoy which is an declaration of war on Polen. It has started, I am a bit worried, because this could be the end of Brandenburg, but I trust in my tactical skills and starting looking at the map again. I get word that both my allies have entered the war on my side. Thank god, without Hungary this would probably not even have been worth trying.
July
My troops enter Western Prussia and start a siege. Bu I feel lucky today and immediately order an assault. Victory!!! We won, I can hardly understand it, we took the fortress on the first attempt and almost without losses. Perfect.
August
I now send my troops into Danzig, because of the harbour and the high revenues from the province.
September
Another war starts, England declares war on Scotland, and Milano enters the war on the English side. I doubt that this will affect me. My army arrived on the 10th and eager to attack, after the last success I order the assault on the 26th, almost victory, they only have about 700, of the 5k they started with, left. I only lost about 2k troops and 1 cannon. I consider that a success.
October
Alarming news, Polen annex Pskov and through that gets more free troops. But I also get a message that Hungary have entered Krakow and have now started a siege. There is also now peace between Kazan and Ryazan because Kazan pays 100gc to Ryazan.
November
More worrying news, peace between Polen and Russia, it is a white peace. Not good, not good at all. Polen will now have a lot of new troops available to attack me. At least one good news, Prussia want a royal marriage, and I accept.
December
Another assault is tried, total failure. Not a single enemy is killed.
1493
February
Another assault, success. Finally, Danzig is under my command. I look around, still no polish forces. Worrying, they are probably building up in the back provinces. Hungary takes Krakow and I immediately sue for peace and ask for Danzig. They decline.
May
I decide to move my forces into home soil. That should be good for moral and it is also easier to find new provisions. I’m also glad to hear that my military tech is advancing and is now on level 3. Which gives me access to build new cannons. I now recruit 4k new infantry In Kustrin to fill up the holes in the lines after the last battles.
June
Once again I sue for peace, now asking for Western Pommeria, decline. Damn I can now see a huge polish force closing in, over 55k men. Not good, my army is about 20k.
July
Polish forces enter Danzig and start a siege. I can just watch. Waiting and hoping that the fort will hold during the winter, and that the winter will take its toll on the men.
1494
February
Another attempt for peace, decline. And Russia annexes the Kazan.
June
After several attempts by Polen to take Danzig I decide that I will have to try to release the troops there. I start marching. Just after an assault attempt by Polen I enter the field, Polen with 27\29\0 and me with 17\1\7. Victory!!! The polish are fleeing. I sue for peace, still they decline. I decide to pursuit the polish into Posen.
July
Battle again, I catch up with the Polish in Posen and the battle starts. Polen 21\26\0 Brandenburg 15\1\7, victory!!! They are fleeing again. I now start a siege of the fortress, but the problem is, this one is bigger. 10k troops. I decide to draft 4k new infantry in Kustrin. I hear the war between England and Scotland is over by the fact that the Scots paid 62gc to England. The Ottomans and the Mamelucks also end their war, Lebanon to the Ottomans.
August
With 4k fresh troops I decide to try an assault before the polish army gets back, success. All 10k polish surrenders, the fort is mine. I immediately sue for peace, taking a chance by asking for both Danzig and Western Prussia. They accept!!! The war is over and Brandenburg is two provinces larger, what a success. The King immediately declares one week of national celebrations.
October
I decide to try and expand the alliance by inviting both Hanover and Bayern. They both decline.
December
The Golden Horde ends their marriage with Astrakhan and declares war on them.
1495
January
Both my infrastructure and trade tech goes up to level 2
February
I start for the first time to look at the trade of Brandenburg. It is no existing. So I decide to send merchants to Flandres.
July
The Golden Horde and Astrakhan sues for peace with each other and the Golden Horde pays 83gc to Astrakhan.
August
Once again I look to expand the alliance, this time I ask Hessen and Cologne, they both accept. Another war starts, this time between Russia and the Golden Horde. The Crimean Tatars, Ryazan and Denmark enter on the Russian side.
September
I start looking to improve my diplomacy with the surroundings and hoping for an alliance with Hanover later on by arranging a royal marriage with them.
1496
January
I start reinforcing the army by recruiting 4k infantry and 1k cavalry in Western Prussia
February
Polen declares war on The Teutonic Order. France, Savoie, Bretagne, The Mamelucks and Switzerland join on the Polish side. Prussia and The Netherlands joins on the Teutonic Order side.
March
Another war, now between Naples and Savoie. France, Bretagne Polen joins Savoie in their struggle. Now Venice sees their chance and declares war on France. The Hansiatic League, Pommeria and Holstein join Venice. Polen, Savoie and Bretagne join France.
July
The Golden Horde gives Kujbuschev and 45gc to Ryazan in a separate peace. King Johann Cicero is now showing signs of age and falls sick for 5 months.
1497
January
Sea military tech up to level 2
February
I arrange a marriage with Thüringen to strengthen the ties with them. The Netherlands pays 238gc to France in a separate peace.
March
I get some strange news; The Golden Horde gives Denmark, Samara in a separate peace and also 20gc to the Crimean Tatars.
April
Decide to expand trade in Flandres. And bad news arrive, Polen annex Prussia. This is not good, Polen is again growing stringer. I must be prepared for war again. They will probably want to get their provinces back.
October
Splendid news, my scouts have seen French troops in Mecklenburg, ravaging inside the Hansiatic Leagues lands. Perfect.

I also get the assignment to introduce the new king Joachim I Nestor to the people. And we immediately start planning for further growth of the Brandenburg Empire. That will hopefully be easier now, because of the fact that with the new king and splendid general arrives, Jan Casimir. I hope to be able to use him well later on.
The AAR is on my IGC2.0 Brandenburg, Hard/Aggressive.
