Hmm, no one was ready to fight over slavery in the 1800s, the North wasn't ready to go super abolitionist yet (sure, there were frictions) and if the south got their way in the nullification crisis what would happen would be every State would get their own fiscal rights and the whole Federal Government would crumble, still the secessionist initiative would be in the South, and if they got their way there would be no need for secession.

Maybe if Napoleon forced them to go super abolitionist?

edit: Ah! What about this: If France won their war against Britain, it could be that they got considerable influence on the politics in the USA. Since French immigration was mostly directed to the southern states (and would probably have been larger in the alternate timeline), it seems natural that they supported those. So a situation might have occurred where the southern states had a disproportionally large power; frustrating the northern states and new Canadian subjects. This might have led to a "inverse nullification crisis", or something like that, where the northern states where the ones creating the trouble and eventually seceding. What do you guys think?

Oh, by the way I'm pretty sure Napoleon would give the Danzig corridor to the duchy of Warsaw. Apart from that, looks good.

Hmm, ok, if you are sure. Poor Prussia...:( :p.

Ehh... Why?
There wasn't really any point in creating Poland in the first place, except for getting some super-loyal polish soldiers and some not-so-loyal.

I think one of France's major concerns would be to keep Prussia under the boot, but not by having them conquered by Poland...

Taylor: Yes, I meant Curacao!

Don't you think Napoleon would give SOMETHING to Poland after winning the wars? The most loyal soldiers of his army would get nothing? I find this pretty unlikely even if Napoleon was a cold bastard. And when I say the Danzig corridor i mean -

NapVic_Europe.jpg

Those three provinces i painted in the polish colour. Prussia could get the rest of Schlesien from Austria.

As I said again I find it very, very unlikely that Poland would get nothing more than independence. (Not a real one, even as it's the duchy of warsaw. But some events for Poland leading to a petition to Napoleon could make the duchy turn into the commonwealth again leading to a war with Russia. Just a possibility.

Well, I think in the very least, Poland (meaning Duchy of Warsaw) should get Danzig, because OTL Napoleon made it independent in 1807, so it's not unlikely he would have done something similar in this timeline.

The entire corridor? Well, I'm open to the possibility, but please continue the discussion...
edit: Or maybe it's more fun for the player to have to conquer the corridor themselves?

On another note: Do you guys think Napoleon I could still be alive in 1836? What about Napoleon II, who in OTL died of turberculosis, but could have survived if he had been at a different location (such that he didn't get infected). There could be a nice in-game event "The Death of Napoleon I", which could raise some trouble for France (losing some satellites perhaps)...

Death of Napoleon followed by losing control over east germany and Poland? This way there could be a war between Poland and Prussia over those terrains with perhaps 4 options.

a: Polish total victory. Schlesien, east Prussia and the Danzig corridor to Poland.
b: Polish victory. Danzig corridor to Poland.
c: Prussian victory. Prussia takes the Posen provinces. (Poland controls the RL congress poland.)
d: Total prussian victory. Same as above but Poland becomes a satellite.

What do you think?

Yes there should definitely be conflict between DoW and Prussia, and the death of Nappy is a good opportunity.

I made some flags:

How about combining the revolutionary flags with spanish emblems?

For example. The flag of peru with the emblem in the middle replaced by the spanish coa.

Oh, that's probably better.

Oregon? The Oregon used to mean the US states of Oregon, Washington and the canadian province British Columbia. I don't know when this name came into use

I have found some things maybe for the flag of La Plata, but I can't find much for New Granada Peru or Chile

From what I read in Chile loyalists simply held the banner of the king's colors, and the flag of Nuevo Granada was simply the red-yellow-red triband. There were some regimental flags in Nuevo Granada but they weren't on a spanish field, they were on crosses and stuff. I couldn't find anything about Peru other than it used the cross of Burgundy.

Here's some stuff about La Plata's flags that might help

Thanks for the links! So does it say in your second link that this was the flag of la plata from 1802 to 1806? (I don't speak Spanish) Or is that only for, for example, the navy?

Following Vesimir's advice, I made the following flags for Peru and New Granada respectively:
peru_shield2

NewGranada_shield2

I made a flag for Columbia (that's name I'm going with, as the name Oregon was mostly in use by Americans, precisely the people that the British Canadians were trying to escape):
Columbia_shield

Here's a picture of Columbia itself:
Columbia

I still have to move some pops from Canada to Columbia.

Btw, I also removed Transvaal and Oranje from the map, and moved the Dutch pops to South Africa.

I can't really see what flag you're talking about (angelfire hates hotlinks D: )

But the first flag on the second page was used mostly in naval functions and coastal fortifications (The Spanish Tricolor).

The Last flag on the first page was still used by the Army and the Government of La Plata even after the issuing of the tricolor.

The other flags on the second page were just regimental flags for certain cities.

The Columbia flag doesn't look good. If they're royalists, how about a normal union jack, but with the yorkists rose in the middle? Or something like that cause that crown really doesn't look too good. Or maybe something in the Jack changed to black to represent the sadness, that UK was defeated.

And just to be clear -

1.Federated States of America - Uniting USA and Canada.
2.United States of America - Uniting USA.
3.Columbia - Canada and the west coast?
4.New Spain - Destroying the USA.

Ok, so I'll use that last flag on the second page. (it looks beautiful)

The Columbia flag doesn't look good. If they're royalists, how about a normal union jack, but with the yorkists rose in the middle? Or something like that cause that crown really doesn't look too good. Or maybe something in the Jack changed to black to represent the sadness, that UK was defeated.

Hmm. I took that crown from the current flag of British Columbia, but you're right, it doesn't look so good. I'll make other flags.

And just to be clear -

1.Federated States of America - Uniting USA and Canada.
2.United States of America - Uniting USA.
3.Columbia - Canada and the west coast?
4.New Spain - Destroying the USA.

Am I right?

Seems about right.
