Nice brainstorm.

I was actually thinking much the same about the childhood events while testing the new fixes. I'll see if I can revise them to be more interesting. For monarchies at least, you might want to raise your younger sons to be meek and submissive so they'll cause less problems later on.

Out of curiosity, Doomdark, just how much free reign have you been given to patch Rome? I'm very pleased that you've been able to interact with us this much already!

Well, Vae Victis was my project, so I basically have free reign, except perhaps for adding major new features.

Very nice discussion this I can only agree with about all that's been said.
I'd buy an expansion containing what's mentioned in the two first posts in a second (well there'd have to be some engine changes as well to beef it out further I suppose as what's been brought up isn't undoable as it is as far as I understand).
