Brainstorming: a The Expanse total conversion

I'll start off by saying I have no idea whatsoever if what I'm proposing is possible.

So I've been watching The Expanse since it first premiered, and have been wondering if it might be possible to mod a similar setting into Stellaris. That is, instead of a galaxy with hundreds of star systems, the map would be one giant solar system with hundreds of planets, moons, and asteroids -- each one matching its real location and characteristics. Obviously it would have to be a static map, using vanilla icons and assets to replace the star icons. Not quite sure how I'd divide the planets up.

The three factions would start off in different positions. The United Nations would have the strongest start, directly controlling Earth and Luna and having the Belt as a (disloyal) vassal. The Mars Congressional Republic would lag behind in territory and numbers, but have the edge in tech -- including the Epstein drive, which Earth won't develop for a good while. The Belt has the lowest quality but the highest quantity: they control the vast majority of the asteroid belt and most of the jovian planets' moons, but with little organization and no fleet to speak of. The OPA would serve as a major faction within the Belt, potentially taking over as its government after a few decades.

I'm just spitballing ideas right now, but it's an interesting concept. Any thoughts?

If it can generate a map with only solar system at first, but with mass distance of each planet, larger planet and star model, and add more moons and Kepler belt.
so the game can focus the conflict between UNN, MCRN, the belt. also of course Mao's conspiracy and Protomolecule will be the major event of the game.
Then find the technology for the ring for interstellar travel. (so that no hyperlane in the game!)
