Then buy it, what am I doing to force you not to? All I did was say that I would no longer buy it and encouraged people to at least think about it. If everyone disagrees with me, then they can safely ignore my as the so politely said rant and we are done with it. If others agree with my point thoug, then is it not also a free market system for the consumers to boycott a product on what ever ground they feel like?

Also the private company line is a bit sketchy is it not, since forum is specifically there for consumers to discuss this product, not just to praise it?

What you've done, and are continuing to do, is step up on your soapbox and call for a mass rebellion against "the man".

And there is nothing sketchy about what I said. The forum is solely owned and maintained by Paradox. They can set the rules in any way they please. You either live with that or die as a forum user. I would say they have been extremely tolerant of you to this point. Not because of your original post, because frankly I've seen much worse here, but your continuing attempts to get yourself out of your self-made hole by continuing to dig.

I don't see any scenario on this private-owned and operated forum where you have any "rights" to call for a boycott with a reasonable expectation of seeing the thread survive as this one has. I would think that you would be grateful for the fact that they have not lived up to your stated expectations of being banned and the thread deleted outright. The fact that you keep acting like the injured party shows me you are learning nothing. Wiz keeps trying to explain things from the company viewpoint, but you don't seem to appreciate that fact.

@Wiz , I second that**, especially when considering that it was NOT a surprise change as he complains [was announced and discussed in advance].
Moreover, the game is 2-years-old*** and people have the option to choose which version to play.

***FYI, I consider 3 years of support as fulfilling as it can be for games [hopefully we'll get more ].

Well I'm very happy with Paradox games, and how they run things. They are the best games I have ever played, and I see no reason to stop playing them or even be mad, even if what this guy's saying is true (which I don't believe) as if you start being upset with a company like Paradox who are the most fairest company out there for both pricing, and DLC policy, then you may as well give up playing any games. And then probably life in general, as you don't get everything for nothing.

I will not continue the conversation about monarchies further though it should be said that there are differeces and that the government does not own the land, it only governs it, where as the queen for example does, but nvm about that. Its not important to this conversation and I am by no means an expert in that fied. On this though, where do I violate the terms and conditions? Give me a quote. Otherwise stop bringing this point up.

Thirdly, even entirely public environments have their own limitations. Things such as harassment, defamation, threats, incitement and public nuisance are all things that can get you in trouble (whether arrested, asked to move, sued or warned). Expressing your opinion is totally allowed, as long as you remain somewhat polite, but going further can and will get you in trouble because it violates both legal rights in most countries AND other human rights.

Well I'm very happy with Paradox games, and how they run things. I actually have yet to see advertisements hidden as patches. If you were to follow your suggestion from a few pages ago to give people a notification about the whole improving development thing like you said, THAT would be advertisement in game.

Honestly, I don't see how using MP to improve development is anyway that big of a deal. Originally I thought it was much cheaper, but normally using 500(even though it is lessened the closer the province is to getting its next development point[even if it is 50]), I personally wouldn't spend MP on that then. You got the whole new development and buildings mechanic for free, yet you are complaining about not being able to manually raise development for an expensive amount of MP?

I have never raised development for new building slots. Development is a new add-on feature, and the game is very much playable without common sense; possibly better that one province minors don't develop their provinces a lot and raise the coring costs. Common Sense though adds more features than just development, so its unfair to call the development feature an advertisement for the Common Sense DLC. In fact the name of the DLC itself tells you that it relates to a lot more things than just development.

Also, free speech is not hindered by advertisement; the ability to advertise is in itself free speech.

First, I never meant my point about this topic, it was about something else. It does not involve you so nvm.
Second, it also strengthens my point, since insulting is like admitting failure to win an argument in an other way.

Frankly I am tired of this thread for now. If there is much activity or a post deserving an answer I will return, otherwise thats it from me folks. I have said what I needed to say, let everyone make their own decision. But if you continue to defend such practicies, dont be surprised if they keep doing it.

Because you are not just expressing your opinion.
Expressing your opinion would be creating a thread called something like "Buildings and development; a discussion", followed by a polite post expressing why you dislike the building changes and why you think Paradox's policy of tying building numbers to development is wrong, preferably a long and informative with some well explained examples.

What you did was post a rant, its purpose to release some of your frustration. You made blatantly incorrect claims, insulted Paradox, the Eu4 devs and most of the forum whilst dressing the entire thing up as some sort of quest in the name of free speech. You have demanded changes, repeated the same claim through the patch and ignored or dismissed any counter arguments people put forwards on the basis that they are "misunderstanding you", mocking you or just wrong without any reasoned debate of your own; including Wiz himself responding to you. All the while you have dressed it up in misinformation, clinging to the idea that it is your human right to say all this, whilst dismissing anyone claiming the contrary as "changing the subject". In addition you have been attempting to call for a boycott, criticising those who are against you (so, everyone) as fanboys.

THAT is NOT expressing your opinion.
