Boxed version of Darkest Hour - in Germany

I would appreciate some file package which removes AH images from digital version

copy/paste this to a new text file.
change file type to BAT
copy it to your main game folder

I'll buy it when it comes out, I'd love DH in a retail box. Are there other regions considered?

The boxed German version of Darkest Hour can be turned into a full one using patch 1.01.1 or newer.

Patch Installer changes:

1. Made the patch installer compatible with all Darkest Hour distributions (Steam, Impulse, Boxed German version etc.)

2. Set correct registry keys for all Darkest Hour distributions (fixes a problem with reported version in Launcher)

3. Converts the boxed German only version into a fully functional Darkest Hour (restores all languages, deleted pictures and changed names)

Yare yare! We Germans! If we see Swastikas, we immediately turn into fascist killing machines. If we then read the name "Hitler", WW3 immediately comes. That's why we need rhombus flags and Hillers. And Gorinks. And Pimms.

By the way why this affects only games? In german movies about WWII there are no this stupid censorship on swastika. What's the difference?

Movies are considered art which makes it ok to use them, computer games are at fault when people run amoc at least when you believe BILD. *g*

Movis are Art and allowed to have swastikas.
German Politics beleave that Games are no art, so they are not allowed.

Sensoring pictures and names of nazi leaders is not nessesary and they are allowed.

My Guess: Because only Germany has a company willing to come forward and produce a game in hard copy that (because of the costs of physical media (disc, box, etc.)) costs twice what the digital download version costs. I remember reading somewhere that the reason that digital downloads cost as much as the physical version of the game is because brick-and-mortar game stores refuse to put any product on their shelves when there is an online version that is cheaper.
