Right, it seems they're going to publish DH on sliverdisk - in Germany. Because when Germany demands something in HoI2, she gets it.

So far we've been asked to prepare a German only version of Darkest Hour only and I have no reason to expect other boxed versions of DH to be released. Anyway I'll forward this question to Paradox and will post back the answer if positive.

In HoI2, yes, in AoD, no. So probably no in DH, since the HoI2 cuts where done by the publisher, not because authorities demanded them. Plus the patches tend to override that censored stuff. Or you can very easily mod it.

Just got a reply form Paradox.
There are no plans to release other boxed version of the game besides the German-only one.

BTW it is quite easy the German boxed version to be turned back into a regular all-languages/not censored version, so if someone really want a boxed version still could go for this one and contact us later for instructions how this conversion can be made.

Agree, but history is written by the victors.
I remember that during WC 2010 in SA, there was something in Berlin: people (Turkish) had made a giant German flag and hanged that in a street in Berlin, then some native Germans complained that Turkish people would feel good if they saw it and it could raise nationalistic (read Nazi) toughts amoung the German people, while some Turks made it!

Boxed version miss some images, some names are changed and is only in German. Nothing that cannot be "recovered" in 1 minute.

It has a Bonus - DVD called "The World at War" but i have no idea if it´s some sort of Documentation...
