Here's the deal..
If everybody gets the game from a warez site, and if everybody loves the game, we have following scenario:

Manufacturer X gets no money for making an entetainemtn product, and therefore, goes bankcrupt.
Warez ass Z ets entertainment, and loves the game but is pissed because the company cannot make a sequel, addon or whatever, since Z made this impossible.

The smaller the company the more important the money is.
And get a life iddiquote or whatever that sucker name was...

Im not sure of what post you are talking about, but everyone that have said they donwloaded the game live where it has not been released yet and said they will buy the game.
Everyone has to decide for themselves, but if they download the game and later buy it or download it and don´t like it I have no problem with that...

I think what he means is that if people get a warez copy and make a BS excuse like: there's no demo, it's not released in my (country/language/favorite color/with a side order of pizza), I'll buy it later, then they can sleep at night with an unbattered conscience, and more importantly an unbattered ego. Well guess what ye men of high morals and intellect, if Paradox wanted you to steal their game they would have said, 'If you feel like stealing our game, and we really care exactly WHY you are stealing our game, go ahead, we don't mind.'

If you are a pirate do not pretend that you are some kind of mythical 'good' pirate. You pirate l0rds are all a bunch of losers who should repeatedly kick yourselves in the ass until I tell you to stop.

Do you think people must have excuases to sleep at night from pirating software ? What world do you live in really ???
Just be glad when people are gonna buy the game, why announce that you have a warez copy and that you are gonna buy the game if you are not ? I think it´s a compliment to paradox that the warz people are buying the game as well after downloading and trying it out.

I consider this attitude unrealistic. Not to be against pirating. I am too. But continuing to bash pirates will not solve the problem. Unfortunaly, pirates will remain. And even if you praise all the saints or compared the pirates as a bunch of &@|'$$'/, it will not solve the problem.

This is. what I think. unrealistic. I do not question your position against pirates. But only your lack of realism, as your showed it in this thread

This is the reason why I said: Let me weep. Come on, be more serious and practical. Pirating is a fact. How to handle this. That's the challenge.

And don't tell me that I am not conscious of the problem, and bla bla bla. I repeat: We have a common point of view. But we need to be more pratical.

Pirates is a problem that is hard to get rid of. What I can do is try to make sure that our forum(s) are not used for piracy and that questions about the game should be answered in a polite manner. If someone asks about really obvious things that easily could be found in the manual the answer could be a reference to the page in the manual where the answer could be found.
