"Boundary dispute" event with non-neighbours

Boundary disputes

Recently...within the last 2 patches...the boundary disputes now occur with non neighbours. For example...landlocked Austria gets a boundary dispute with Siena. The old versions always did this with neighbours only.

Can we see a screenshot showing Austria and Siena in your game?

I've certainly not noticed this. Has anyone else?

I havent noticed it, are you sure you don't have any territory in Italy?

I had it with Mecklenburg as Venice, in multiplayer, where Venica had parts f Italy and it's starting territory, and Mecklenburg it's one province.

I also have had this non-neighbour behaviour.
IIRC the closest thing connecting our country was a few seazones.

I'm positive about the locals...This is just one example of a recent one. Every country I've played recently has had that same anomaly occur. This is go back a month or two but I was playing Portugal with no European claims...other than Portagul proper and I got a territorial dispute with some HRE country.
