576 is indeed too short for the height of the minimal interface that requires 600 pixels. I'm afraid there is no solution. My netbook is 1026x576, Compaq mini.

The game queries your video drivers for all available modes. If your video card/monitor supported 1024x600, it would be on the list.I understand, it is a shame I cant try something custom like 1024x600.
So does it run at 1024x600 with all the interface elements visible? EU2 can be made 1024x600 with the resolution changer tool but it hides the history log at the bottom, so I have to run it at 800x600 on my Netbook and it would be nice to use the whole screen, tiny as it is.![]()
FTG uses the same information as the control panel by asking the system, nothing more. I'd like to have a screenshot of the resolutions listed in the FTG Settings screen on your PC.
Do you use last available driver for your video card?
Try to manually change values in settings.txt to 1366x768 for the size. It could work unless the system denies FTG the right to use this resolution and FTG will then revert to 800x600 since this is the basic resolution supported by all video cards.
I'm running it right now on resolution.
It's designed for many resolutions. No worry there.
Hmm.. Just bought & installed it, and won't let me change resolution. Loads up at 1280x1024, lists resolutions up to 2048x1536. Tried changing to 1920x1440 (current display mode) & restarting, but changes not taking effect.
Running it on Vista Home Premium with 2x Nvidia 280's and an Apple 30" monitor.
Just installed and fired up at 1920 x 1080 but I feel like I need a pair of glasses. Unfortuntaly this is the only widescreen resolution.
I tried running the demo at my standard 1650x1080 and kept trying to find the next zoom-in level.
Changed to 1440x900, which is better size-wise (I can actually SEE the sprite details), but sadly leaves everything a bit blurry.
the resolution proposed come from what Windows proposes too. Have you more wide screen resolutions in the configuration panel > personalization (translated from french) > display settings (also translated) ?But 1920x1080 is the only widescreen resolution. That's the 'problem'.

Yes, in Windows control panel for display. In windows itself?
If your monitor runs at 1080 then 1440x900 is a different aspect ratio. Its 16:10 where 1080 is 16:9.Changed to 1440x900, which is better size-wise (I can actually SEE the sprite details), but sadly leaves everything a bit blurry.

You will want ####x720 if its on that list. That would be the next 16:9 resolution.
I personally run it at 1080 without any issues.
