Aside from actual heading out and protesting outside the Paradox office, I think there's not much more we moderators can do - Paradox is very much aware of the problem, I've bugged them several times *despite* them saying the ball is in Steam's court.

Since this hasn't helped, I'm going to assume that the ball is, indeed, in Steam's court, and there is preciously little I can do to make Steam solve the problem, I'm afraid.

Call steam until you get the codes.

Talked to our publishing people here, and they sent yet another explanation email on how to handle cd-keys and how to set up registry so our patches are compatible. Hopefully this one will be adressed.

I've just discovered another feature of being a Steam customer: I have access to mods forum only as reader, and can´t download files, i.e.: the Cursus Honorum Mod.:(

Would thou be so kind of spare a microfraction of thine most valuable time and send us, thine most humble servants, a minimal blessing in the form of a registration key?

should be a key available in your steam client.

My Steam-CD-key does not work.

So who is to blame now? Did you issue wrong codes or is it Steam/Valve again, that has got it wrong?

Really, I do not care too much about the tech support, but having no access to modded content sucks. I am getting increasingly disappointed with you guys and your rip-off sales policy: Sell it, then mend it is not a way that provides a strong attraction towards buying your products.
Have you ever tested the Steam-sale-channel before you launched it?

And the Steam-EULA is a bad joke: I am not entitled to get a refund, under no circumstances. That totally contradicts nearly every nations law here in Europe: I paid for something, but I do not get it delivered properly (only a flawed version), and still I am not allowed to return the product? That is what I call a rip-off.

If it wasn't for the small amount of money involved, companies with this kind of policy would be drowning in law-suits. But the way it is, we are just getting frustrated, ripped-off and getting emotionally biased towards piracy.

Contact Steam for a refund, as the european law requires them to give you one if you buy somehting online.
