I recently bought CKII on Steam while it was 75% off. However, I have been experiencing fatal runtime errors with the game and I cannot post in Tech Support without using my CD key. Where things get dicey is that I only have CD keys for a select few DLC's on my steam account and do not have the CD key for the actual original game, even though I spent $40 for the entire collection. Steam hasn't gotten back to me for my requests. Is there anything Paradox Interactive can do to help me, or am I just screwed out of $40?

I just bought the same thing today and didn't get a key for CK2 itself either.

"No forum keys during the Free to Play week! - If you buy the game, you will get the key on the 24th
Please note that to prevent anyone from gaining the precious icons and forum access that you guys paid so dearly for, we had to disable the distribution during this time. If you have a purchased copy of Crusader Kings II, the forum registration key for it won't be visible until the 24th of February.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused!"

By the way if you have problems during the free to play week you can contact the helpdesk like always; it is just the key distribution which is disabled.
Still no CD key for Crusader Kings II in Steam, bought the same day like the DLCs... 
Possibly related(?): I bought the game back at release but only now registering on the forums, yet the only CD keys I'm getting out of steam are for DLC. Will my CD-key be hidden during the free to play period as well? :S
Yes, but the free to play weekend for CKII ended almost a week ago; this weekend it is an EU4 free to play weekend, so only EU4 keys are affected this weekend.
You probably ought to contact the helpdesk.
Sorry, followed a link to get here from a thread with similar issue. The game in question is EU4, so I'll just wait I guess. Thanks for the quick reply though!
