Hi everyone! :D

I hadn't noticed so far this new addition.
How are we supposed to annex big vassals, if we can't do that while we are at war?

All the things you can't do while at war have always bothered me.
It makes sense when you're a small country, but at a certain point, people in your homeland won't even notice you're at war.

Maybe it could be like the vassal has to be at peace?
That way, we could use the Scutage function.
But it seems very harsh that I have to be at peace as well.

I didn't realise this was the case. I am quite confident that if you have Scutage on for your vassal and they are not involved in any way they will still be annexed. I haven't tested it in 1.30.2, but in 1.30.1 I was able to annex Desmond and GB whilst I was at war with Austria. The main purpose of this rule in the first place is so as to avoid weird scenarios where an enemy is in battle with or sieging your vassal or being sieged by your vassal.

That's what it says to me!
I'll test it out soon.
I'm annexing Brittany as Austria. Next war I'll scutage them.

Is this some change orr are you noticing the old thing that annexations dont progress if the subjects Capital is occupied.
That was falsely reported with said message.

Thank you very much!

I had never experienced this bug before, but that was the case: it's indeed still possible to annex a vassal during a war, if its capital is not occupied!
