As Murphey's Law would have it, attempts to retire the 50-some-year-old Emperor by having him personally lead the raider-crushing squads resulted not in his death, but in an event reporting that he had suffered a serious head injury, showing no signs of waking, and had gained Incapable.

And, yet, as brawny characters do when they have an additional +1.25 health from artifacts, he has clung onto life long enough for... the book writing event to fire, in which he chooses between a vomit-inducing hallucinogenic drought or roughhousing with his soldiers to raise the quality of his work, or lowering it.

Obviously, unconscious people with severe head injuries cannot continue to write books.

I would imagine that there are, generally, more event chains which should be suspended or broken if the character becomes Incapable.
