wasnt sure whether to post this here or in the mod section...but i figured here would probably be the best. has anyone else noticed that in bolt's latest mod, the UK ai builds MORE transports than waht she starts out with? in my game as japan, the UK now has 15 (started with 8 i think). bolt, if you read this: is this an anomoly or should i be seeing this? if i've missed this somewhere in another thread than i apologise.

Bolt is a Navy guy at heart. He just likes to see lots of pretty ships sailing around. That and, if memory serves, the AI was allocating all of the transports it produced to convoys and that was one of the key reasons why the AI never conducted amphibious landings. I'm pretty sure it's the pretty ships thing though. Ask him to show you his anchor tattoo. It's very Popeye.

Actually I was a tanker in the service. No, not an oil tanker. The land kind. With guns. Bigguns.

But, you can't get anywhere hot without some damnable floating heap to haul you there. Or a big large airplane that is really expensive and scary. Tanks shouldn't be in airplanes. It just aint right.

Think of a battleship as a superduperheavy tank with a "fluid drive:) Keep in mind 16" is in excess of 400mm - show me a track-thrower packin' one of those (much less 9 o' them beauties).

Actually, we'll make you an honorary squid if you incorporate the assorted naval combat fixes into Bolted HOI (my word as a retired CPO).
