Playing as France in the GC I noticied that Bohemia held the crown of the HRE under the regent Rozmberk. I'm not too familiar with the Bohemian events, so I paid little attention to said regent. However, as the years passed and my monarchs died and were replaced, I noticied Rozmberk continued to reign. I thought, "Gee, this guy has some stamina." Out of curiousity I checked the save file to look at Bohemia's monarchtable. Sure enough, Rozmberk wouldn't be followed by another moanrch until Ferdinand II, in 1526, giving him a reign of 69 years! Wow, that rivals Louis XIV.
After further examination into the vents files, I found out the Rozmberk is the B choice in Bohemia's event 129040. I guess the A option either cedes Bohemia to Austria or possibly Hungary (I didn't check the rest of the sequence). However, I browsed lower in the vent file and noticied this:
If I'm not mistaken, the offending } bodering the next event (without a paragraph in between) will screw up not only the next event but the preceeding event as well, causing them not to fire. Unfortunately this situation persists at least another few events, which I guess relate to monarchs who would rule instead of Rozmberk. Of course, I'm not positivve, but my delving into the events gives me this hunch.
Sorry for the long lead-in.
P.S. Just before I sent this I also noticed that the description "#The Letter of Peace" is also missing the # after 'Peace'. This may also be hampering the events, as I belive you have to surround the name. This also persists. Please let me know if these events have been slept intentionally.
