Dear Diary,
Even during winter conditions our armies continued their march into Ottoman Greece and liberated Epiros and Thessalia in January.
Even greater success came in March when Constantinople was again taken as in the earlier war against the Ottomans.
However lately things have turned. Not long after we took Constantinople enemy armies crossed the Bosporus and reconquered the city and Rumelia, with the Ottoman capital Edirne. Luckily General Aleksandr Lablonec could turn the tide and took back at least Rumelia.
Another drawback was a lost battle in Silistria, where Jan Brno fought Erol Barbaros, probably one of the best Ottoman generals. Despite a small advantage in numbers Jan Brno had no chance to defeat the superior Ottoman general. While the Silistria battle was going on Lablonec took control of Constantinople again and the advance in Greece continued with the capture of Athens.
As always wars are terrible on the normal population, even when the war is fought far away from home. As a result gnosticism spread in Westfalen.
And in Reichenberg Castle at the Court our adviser Gottfried Leibnitz spoke against the war and against his King and employer! He was sent to prison where he can think whether he will continue his actions agaisnt Bohemia or stay a loyal adviser tot he Throne.
