Bohemia won't cave....

Okay, so my Golden Empire is attempting to enlighten the people of Europe, the problem? Bohemia.

They won't budge, they have -1 stab, and 50% inflation, but that doesn't seem to stop them. I've been in two wars with them, and two with Austria, which seems to share Germany with Bohemia. Both the Boh wars ended in white peace, that's when I decided to go north through Sweden pissing off Aust along the way, now I sit idle again, wondering what my next move should be. If I attack Hansa, Boh will surely come to their aid. How should I defeat them? I'm certain I can maintain a war longer than they can, I have 2 war exhaustion, 0% inflation, and 120k soldiers, unfortunately they break the 200k mark.

My last war with Boh was going great, half of their forces were in OE territory and I slaughtered a good number of border provinces, but then OE declared peace and I could not hold back the overwhelming number of soldiers.

Would "modernizing" my Military help?



Alternatively I could ignore Boh and move south towards Persia, I could cut through Persia, and unify India under my Golden Empire. What do you guys think my next move should be?

I see a rather small BOH-Horde border.. Scorch a few provinces, retreat behind them, wait for them to march through all that, then strike them hard. Just stay on the defensive for a while.

If I can defeat Castille (playing as Portugal) outnumbered 6 to 1, you surely can beat Bohemia. Do as suggested above. Scorch several provinces trough which they must pass. Play on the defensive. Strike only where and when you're sure you can win with few casualties. Careful with WE. Use spies to sow discontent.

Once their stability is -3, their war exhaustion is 20, their main stacks have been destroyed and their manpower has been depleted - KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!!

Really? Wow, I learn something new every day. Thanks for the advice guys. I'll strike before 1650 and utilize scorched earth tactics, I did the same thing when fighting France a while back in a dif game...

take out Ottomands from Asia Minor and take the balkans.

BAM! Just gave you 50-100 provinces to take.

also, use spies, spam them, get the national idea for spies, and get them to screw with their merchants, with their provinces, support patriots everywhere.
