Bohemia forms HRE = game over?

So playing glorious Hapsburger dynasty once more (I left the empire) and this time Bohemia formed the HRE in the mid 1500's! (from what I recall, cant check save from work)
I've annexed southern Italy including the papal states and I also annexed Bulgaria and the Greek cores next door.
edit : also annexed Hungary of course.

Theres really no way of eating more of Europe is there?

Inherit it and dissolve it would be a glorious event worthy of the emperor of Austrias time! Bohemia is always a pain in the neck and my main ambition is to annex and disolve that nation.
It was really going well untill the grey blob suddenly appeared, I had just removed the Ottomans from Europe and dominate everything from Thrace to Savoy and before I had the chance to plot the destruction of Bohemia with France then HRE was formed. Damnit!

Russia is in Europe, and is the gateway to the untapped copper and iron of Siberia. Anatolia is (in-game) in Europe, and is the gateway to the spices of Persia and the spices, tea and cotton of India. If you've eaten Hungary and Bulgaria, both are now open to you.

You are playing Austria. Inhereit them. eat russia. eat the turks up entirely. the game is not over, it's only just began. i mean, it its only the 1500's, you got at most 3 centuries to eat them up. definately doable.

If you attack them shortly after they form the HRE then they are actually weaker than they were prior to passing that last reform. They will have a lot of non core provinces with revolt risk and they have just lost all the armies and manpower of their former vassals which will take them time to replace.

This is true, but they still have their imperial army, and it's not likely to have a good CB to attack them and take any decent chunk of it.
Inheriting especially as same culture group is the way to go, as you will get cores

Good posts good posts. I do think this will be difficult. Prussia gets beat up all the time so I'm not sure if theres much help from that part.

Take the national idea Bill of Rights and that will give you liberation CB which will make forcing Bohemia to release nations cost less warscore.

Actualy, i would say you are done. Bohemia is too big and too op. Unless grand revolt happens, you cannot do much.
