Blurred, pixelated text on map

Hi!
I installed the latest directx, later I noticed that the map text changed in the game, it became very blurry. I have reinstalled the game several times, cleared its folder in the document area, verified integrity of game cache in steam. Steam says it's OK, and the checksum is also correct, I have also updated my graphic cards driver, but the problem hasn't gone. I have windows 7 64 bit, Ati Radeon Mobility HD5870.
In the attachment you can find the dxdiag.txt and a sample picture of the problem. I can't play it like that, it's very annoying.
Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Try a full clean reinstall: move any valued save games elsewhere and uninstall the game from within Steam. Then manually delete ALL the CK2 directories from under BOTH the Steam and MyDocuments folders. Now reinstall the game from Steam, and run the Verify just to make sure it all came down properly.

Also, is that video drive really the latest? It's 2 months old. You could perhaps try the beta of the next one

If neither of those help, lets see your settings.txt and system.log please.

That is exactly what I was doing at every reinstall, now I did it again and installed the beta driver. Unfortunately it did not solve my problem.
Here is my settings.txt and system.log after the clean install and one run. Usually I set multisampling to 8, but it doesn't solve it either.

Also, there is an error.log with the following text:

OK, well I'm not sure what your problem is. We are not seeing this as a general issue.

I have seen cases like this where setting it to an odd resolution helps. So edit that settings.txt to say fullScreen=no , and/or maybe like x=1919 y=1079 .

Unfortunately it didn't help, but I played it on Linux.
Today me and my friends started playing Magicka and the main menu was the same way messed as the text in CK2. I looked into it, and on its forum I found an answer. There was a problem with mipmapping (somehow the settings have changed). I changed the edge-enhancement setting to 100 in the Video/Quality submenu in Catalyst Control Center, and it works like a charm in both games.
I don't know what changed the settings.

I had the same blurry text/texture problem and resolved it by increasing the Mipmap Detail Level in my ATI Catalyst controls from performance to quality. I too have no idea what changed the settings
