I have some ideas for very high centralised monarchy.
1. Duke-Tier Governor is appointed by the Royal Council
It is like as the investiture system. If a governor passed away, then a 3rd Person is appointed in general.
Monarch controls only all of Kingdom capital duchy. Any others have Gorvenor.
Vassals cannot stage inner war, inherit other titles outside their duke-tier demesne.
Beyond Kingdom you are belong which is not part of the liege's demesne, there is no governor but Jiedusha(節度使). It can be inherited by their descendant like as normal duchy. (So as a governor, your dream would be become Jiedusha.)
2. Authority point System
(1) System somewhat like as the decadence System
* Low status: a faction for the new king will emerges and revolts against that tyrant. Or, it would be faction for Independence.
* High status: More troops, money, loyalty from the vassals
(2) Principle
+ High Attributes, High Piety, Help the liege or the vassal, Winning war, Bountiful raiding, Marriage with royal member, Noble Blood
- Tyrantic activities, severe ill-traits, high devastation due to raid by enemy, defeated in war
+- Unique events
(3) Invest some authority point for your profit
1) As the Monarch:
* Appoint a succeccor for a governor (like as investiture one)
* And your succeccor
* Banish, execute disloyal vassals freely
2) As the vassals:
* Become a governor
* Appoint your succeccor to next governor
* Propose a marrige between your descendant and royal member
* invite to your faction
