Blue Greece

Hello everybody

I love EU4. I have played many hundred's of hours. Yesterday morning I read the latest dev diary about the upcoming expansion (which btw sounds very exciting) and saw that one of the new achievements is going to be Trebizond related. I have wanted to play as Trebizond for a while now with the goal of forming Greece so the upcoming achievement is great for me.

Now here is my plea: please please please change Greece's colour. The current fleshy colour is quite horrible. Please make it a nice blue (or yellow, or white). Or anything else, but please please change the colour.

I agree, it doesnt really fit but I rarely see greece forming, which is probably why it gets itself an odd colour, even so there aren't really any other bluish nations except from athens in the region so I'm not sure why greece is that colour.

Athens is grey not blue. The closest blue nations in that region are Karaman (but they're usually not around for very long) and Venice which is blue-ish.

Or just give us the ability to change nation colour whenever we want in game. If I start expanding as an X coloured nation and reach the borders of a same colour blob, I would love to be able to change mine. It is Ironman friendly and lets us do away with abysmal colours (Hungary, Greece, etc) and can dynamically follow your nation's growth.

Don't even tie it to unit colour or flag or anything. So my troops would stay the same as Scotland, even if I change my map colour to green cause I have colonized around Spain's colonies.

That would probably be the ideal solution. But I'm assuming it's a relatively big change to code.

A step in that direction could also be the ability to mod the country colours in an ironman friendly way.

Yes. Have played Greece, did not like the color. Wanted something like the Greece colors in Civ 5.

I don't think it's possible to change colours. Unless you don't care about ironman.

Yeah, white gave me the sense of Hellenism. This really hurts my eyes.
