I'm curious as to how many times now the village has gone after the survivors from any given set of candidates. It seems to have been quite a few.
The idea of voting 2-3 players, I'll explain again. Everyone comes up with arguments. That produces a lot of votes on scattered candidates, but naturally some people attract more votes than others. People then consolidate onto 2-3 candidates, explaining their reasoning. 1 candidate is lynched at the end.
We then run up a completely new set of 2-3 villagers. We do not run up the same people again immediately.
After a few days we've built up a record in which everyone in the village has participated, so we know that on Day 3 Roger Ramjet voted for Ian Malcolm and that meant George Washington went to the wall. We later on lynch Ian Malcolm and see he was a red wolf and Roger Ramjet never voted for red wolves. So we lynch Roger Ramjet and find he too is red. No, this doesn't work every time, but it's better than flailing around in the dark.
Some people don't participate in this. We send them to the guillotine for it. PETZ will scream "THEY JUST WANT TO PLAY THEIR WAY". I'm reminded of undergraduates' concepts of rights and morality. Killing zombies for being zombies no more infringes on their right to be zombies than their zombieism infringes on my right to an orderly day.
We do after a time come back to candidates who survived, once we've got valid reasons to run them up. The logic that we lynched A and he proved to be a villager, so B must be a wolf, is the most inane crap. Any given set of candidates could be all wolves, all villages, or a mixture - assuming it's 1 wolf and 1 villager so if a villager dies the others are suspicious is downright stupid.
All this has been fucked up by:
1. 3 packs makes the process even harder
2. Lots of outings early on disrupted votes
3. SoL vanished and half the players lost interested
I should mention that for my part I've not been putting in the time to try prevent running up the same candidates because it was only Monday that I handed in my last work to complete my degree, so I've sort of had higher priorities. Between the villagers who can't fathom simple concepts, and the mendacity of intelligent wolves, play by the method hasn't worked very well.

Wait, so when the seer scanned you and you were a wolf, did you expect him to just go "Oh well I can't possibly out the magnificent SPLIT"? And if you were a great help to the village then it makes sense for the wolves to hunt you.Guys, how about this... and I am serious.... Why don't you all vote yourself and end this disgrace to WW? I mean eating Split and lynching Split in a span of 2-3 days?
