Basically, apart from making fun of life as a beta-tester (constantly changing rules, loopholes found, loopholes closed, &etc), the following chapters also happen to demonstrate how to play the game, if you read between the jokes (a chore in itself, but not impossible). At the moment Paradox does not really feel like giving away such details to those with the game but lacking a manual, if you know what I mean.Originally posted by Marcus Valerius

Thus, for the moment, the publication of the AAR is frozen, as time is better spent on the first patch than on vetting an AAR for sensitive information. Tough luck, but those are the breaks.

After the release, I expect the number of AARs to increase by quite a large number. Even considering starting my own AAR myself (just need to get my hands on the game first)Originally posted by NimaFoulaam
The measure is understandable. I hope the AARs will go on after the release as they provide much fun.

I think the pre-release AAR-writing suffered a serious blow because of those )(&(/%(%¤ piratesOriginally posted by Rollo_CH
I'm a little worried over the low number of AAR's though...or is it that the beta's enjoy playing Victoria so much, they simply don't have the time to write any? I sincerely hope that is the case.
That may be true, but the piracy occured recently, so there have been plenty of time before that...Originally posted by rafiki

Yes that makes sense, the AAR's have to go through the careful eyes of the Paradox censors first.Originally posted by Väinö I
You think that Paradox makes all Beta-AARs aviable to the public?
Just look at the posting time in the first installment of Blood to the Ankles. It was written nearly a month ago.
