I will no longer vote for the NLP, neither can I vote for the DFP. Both parties seem like powerhungry little kids, trying to gain votes by rethoric and infighting instead of solid policy. Therefore, I will cast my vote for the DZP, for centrism and moderation.
 
I applaud the DFP for moderating their radical policy significantly, and would like to vote for them, but unfortunately they sound like a watered down version of the NLP, especially on foreign policy. The Zentrumpartei appear to have no policies of their own apart from Catholicism, and will surely prove to be a disaster if ever entrusted with power on their own. Unfortunately, the only party with a sensible colonial policy (Madagascar) happens to be the NLP, and therefore once again, I must reluctantly vote Nationalliberale. I fully endorse a DFP-NLP coalition, or fail that, a grand coalition of all three liberal parties, and hope that the people of both Germany and those respective parties feel the same way.

I vote once again for the Deutsche Zentrumspartei (DZP).
I am pleased to see that many are coming to see that moderation and mutual tolerance will guide us to glory.

DFP and NLP are going to be a disaster, though. Demanding British land when the navy is barely funded...? Oi... And DFP wants to go to war with Austria-Hungary as well...?

They want to build the navy first. In line with our country's colonial ambitions, this is a very smart move.
 
Still. Starting from almost scratch. I'm aghast at the idea of a DFP government, hostile to so many states. NLP is... tolerable, though I'm still unsure if punishing France and going after Britain is a good idea...

This is why we have coalition governments, one party moderate the extreme policies of the other. Assuming on the basis of current figures, Zentrum would be the largest party, so they'd hopefully moderate the excesses of DFP and NLP foreign policy, while conceding in other areas (naval expansion, anti-socialist laws, Madagascar, etc.) in any Liberal grand coalition.
 
In the short term, that would be quite nice. In the long-term, though... I'm not sure it will end up moderating out their radical drive.
 
There is no way there'd be a coalition of the DFP, NLP and or Zentrum, and even if it were to be their clashing ideologies, even though they all claim to be liberals, would put an end to any cooperation. Though i suppose anythings possible. Hopefully people will come to their senses and vote for DKRP. :p

Given that Zentrum is on track to be the largest party, and given how alike the NLP and DFP are on most issues these days, I'd think it more likely than a Zentrum-KP front coalition for a Bismarckian dictatorship.

Look at the DFP and NLP policies; they're practically separate wings of the same party these days. Merger is on the cards, mark my words.
 
I don't know if i'd rather go Zentrum or Reichs Konservative... I mean, I really like Zentrum and the Catholic focus, and I think it's cool that they are trying to get a broader vote, but I really want Bismark and his Realpolitik. and I dont like how France is being punished... Then again, colonies sound nice. Argh! Stuck. Anyone willing to convince me to go one way or the other?
