I shall cast my vote for the Democratic People's Front! We need peace and reform, in order to heal the wounds of the Great War. May fate be kind on the Fatherland from now on.

Wow, so if I don't want to abolish the aristocracy, I... need to vote to abolish the Reichstag as a governing body. Oi >_<

We all know how the SPD/FVP alliance will end.

DNVP

Not the best policies, but at least we'll have the Kaiser back

Really don't know what to do now. Will wait a little and see how the votes are going before making my choice.

This is pretty much how I feel myself. Voted so many times, but surely not for this. It’s so frustrating to see that the leaders Germany (elected ones as well as the unelected ones) actually started a World War only to lose it so badly. I mean, what was it all about? To keep Eastern Siebenburgen as a part of Hungary? And what did we achieve at last? Pure madness. And now they ask for our votes again... I mean, seriously, what are we up to? Such an outstanding nation with such incompetent leaders. How can it be?

Hey, that "incompetent leader" just so happens to be the guy who's writing the AAR!

I honestly believe, that we can agree, that the AAR is being written very well. And may be, but only may be, we could also agree, that from a gameplay point of view the most recent part has been played rather terribly. It might have been done intentionally by the author in order to let the story of this AAR develop in some more interesting way. And I don't mind. But as a dedicated reader (and thus as a regular voter) I would like to reserve the right to show some discontent with the recent gameplay, i.e. with the actions of our elected leaders. It's called an interactive AAR, so I just try to be a bit interactive.

They also get out and vote. ;)

Sheesh, tough choices indeed. I've already eliminated 2 parties from consideration. The only ones left to consider is the Democratic People's Front, the DDP and the DZP. Hm.

There's plenty of free bread and water left in the DZP campaign booth, a luxury in these days.
I'd be happy to share some of it with you if you decide to become our second voter of the year. ;)
(Then again, being a good Christian, I'm happy to share it with you in any case, of course, but we sure could use the vote.)

One would think that one of your high ethical standards would be above the mere bribery of electors, Herr Khalep.

My good Herr Tanzhang, this has nothing to do with bribery and everything to do with the Centre having optimistically stocked its reserves to pre-war voter levels. I am merely pointing this fact out to the voters, as I would hate to see such resources wasted in times like these. Though I can see how you could get that impression.

You could always send some to the FVP headquarters - I mean, the FVP were once part of the Zentrumpartei after all. :)

I have voted for them for a long time now, despite I some reservations towards their attitude with the Dutch I generally agree with their platform. DDP wanting to roll back social reforms I believe will only enrage some elements, considerable elements of society but their foreign policy is quite nice. Eh why not, I vote for the DZP once more. Deus Vult. Long live the Republic.

Thankfully the Alliance favours non-interference in the democratic process, otherwise we may have to put up with further examples of this kind of bribery in future elections! :D

Oh you wicked wicked man. Pst....pst.....Giacomo, Savonarola, Petrarcha. Come on.

I am very conflicted in this election. So much so, I considered voting for the socialist party! The Treaty of Versailles is despicable, but Germany can not fight it now, not when they have no allies in Europe. In 10 years, when Europe realizes the injustice of the treaty, we can renegotiate it, but for now we must endure it. So, with a hope for a better future, I vote for the DDP
