USPD: The time for revolution has come! These 'Weimar' parties offer nothing except bourgoisie stagnation, meanwhile the aristocrats attempt their own democratic coup to restore their authority.
For the first time in the history of the AAR, I am in full accordance with Herr Khalep. In more ordinary, happier times I'd be happy to vote for either the DDP or the FVP but these are far from ordinary or happy times. The DNVP will restore the monarchy and restore some stability in the process, but that is their only good point in a manifesto filled to the brim with bad points. The other parties? Not a chance.

Herr Tanzhang, I must say, your words astound me. Perhaps this is truly the most peculiar outcome of the war.
However, it would seem that the majority of the electorate is rather less troubled and far more eager to join one of the radical wings..
I would've voted fro the FVP, but because I'm a sucker for masonry-hating anti-semites, DNVP seemed like the most obvious choice.
Let it therefore be decided. The DNVP are an odious and illiberal party: not merely do they wish to incite the nation to war when we are in no position to fight one, but in the process they demand that all forms of open, democratic, tolerant dissent be clamped down upon. That is nothing short of a dictatorship; at least the Alliance offers to preserve democratic rights. We may never see the Kaiser again - these constitutional talks have a certain air of finality about them - but at least under the Alliance a man may be permitted to express his desire for the Kaiser to return if that is what he believes without fear of hindrance or prosecution. There may be no Kaiser under and Alliance government, but there may be no democracy or free speech at all under a DNVP government. I'd much rather have democracy without the Kaiser than have a Kaiser without democracy.
Furthermore, it quite is clear that of all the parties it is the Alliance which have the best economic policies to suit the current economic times. Protectionism will merely raise prices of food and other essentials for the poor and exacerbate what already is a dire situation. Interventionism will help us boost employment and get our industry back on track until it is time to revert to a more orthodox economic policy once situations improve. I have my reservations about the SPD - many reservations - but one is optimistic that the tearing away of the socialist radicals of the USPD has moderated the party to such an extent that it is fit to excercise the duties of government responsibly. I also hope that the presence of the FVP will act as a further moderating influence.
On the flipside the DNVP offer no plan for Germany's reconstruction, instead they offer a plan for Germany's oblivion. The time may one day come for Germany to reassert itself as a global power, and avenge the losses of Königsberg and Bohemia, but that time is not now! The time has come for a Germany United, for the SPD-Liberal Alliance (SPD-FVP)!* Gott Beschütze Deutschland!
* Also they're the only fresh thing on the menu.

This is been difficult as others have said. But I think in the end Herr Tanzhang's reasoning seems sound.

I have my doubts about the ability of any centrist party to gain enough votes to form a credible opposition during this election, but such pragmatic views can never overrule one's ideals.
Besides, I really do like this poster, and it is especially fitting for the present election. And if even I do not vote for my beloved Centre, who will?
I would certainly not be opposed to a coalition with our.. more left-wing Christian brothers, and their allies.

I change my vote from the DNVP to the FVP, i cannot with a clear conscious vote for the DNVP, no matter how much i wish to.
Plus the fact that there is FINALLY a party with free trade and interventionism makes it all more attractive.

Just to be 100% clear, a vote for the FVP is also a vote for the SPD according to the pact which Tommy describes.

Not quite, only one vote has gone to the Independent Socialist Party, but a significant number of votes, including your own, has gone to the alliance of the normal/original socialists and christian radicals/socialists.

Clearly the SPD, once purged of crazy radicals, has ceased to become radically socialist.
And to be honest, I reckon that most of the people - self included - would have voted for the FVP if the two alliance parties had contested this election separately
