Eh... I think I'll let Tommy count by himself this election. This is getting a bit confusing for me.

With acknowledgement of your efforts and vague TV like political commentary, tea kind sir? Black or white?

Seeing how my loved DZP has been hijacked by the socialists, and wanting only Germany's greater future,I switch my vote from the DZP to the DKRP

By God, this vote switching is indeed getting out of hand..
Nothing the DZP has stated implies that anyone in the party leadership or anything in the party policy has been hijacked by socialists. Only a minor part of the electorate of the DZP may have socialist credentials. This says nothing about the good christian leadership of our fair party. I can't believe that all these voters are being swayed by what is nothing more than the propaganda efforts of the right.

And yet I hope that Windhorst, our good leader, will not back down from his and our principles. Let the DZP not be forced to the repressive right, but stand firmly in the centre.
Only by means of this can we, in the long run, prove to the voter that we are not opportunistic pragmatics, but strong in our faith and policy. Only by this can we show that we will never be hijacked for some alien cause.

I call upon all good christians to remain true in the face of falsehood. To stand fast for the cause of truth, justice and freedom and the Lord our God.
Heed the Bible, rather than the words of the secular right. For they are themselves misguided and their attempts to lead you astray from the small, moderate road to the broad avenue of radicalism are mistaken.

I will not judge them for it, for we read in Matthew 7:1-3 "judge not, that ye be not judged", but it saddens me all the same.

I myself,Herr Khalep, was a great supporter of the DZP in the past as many here can confess. However, more and more socialists have decided to vote for the DZP as an indirect route for the SDP to gain power through the abolishiing of the Socialist laws. Those reasons, together with the eagerness of the DZP to banish these laws, made me sway over to the DKRP.

Between the moralizing DZP, stagnant DKRP and jingoist, unfeeling LVD, I feel that I have no good place to go. What happened to the old DFP, with its commitment to equality of all Germans, secularism and equal rights for those of all political beliefs? I may have voted DZP for this election, but I am certainly disaffected. Where has the German radical voice gone? Are us secular radicals now truly forced to choose between the devil and two deep blue seas?

I think, If I may venture an opinion, the problem with the old DFP is that they became too radical for their own good. In order to win power one has to gravitate towards the political centre (the actual centre, not the Christian Democratic centre-right as Zentrum does) and DFP went so far left at one point that the only way for them to obtain power and respect in the eyes of the German populace was to overcompensate by swinging perhaps a little too far to the right than was perhaps necessary. The truth of the matter is, that any party irrespective of political intention will be used as a Trojan horse for the socialist movement if it advocates the repeal of the ASL. The challenge for the LVD in the coming decades is to move slightly leftwards in order to accommodate voters such as yourself while remaining true to the liberal triad of religious secularism, implacable opposition towards socialism and free trade.

It's socialism, not the grim reaper leading the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Y'all need to calm down and stop being so antagonistic towards everyone else.

I personally don't want socialists in power, and if the Zentrum Party has been somewhat taken over by socialists, then I definitely don't want Zentrum to win. I'm hoping, though, that either Zentrum or the Socialists suffer a great schism sometime soon... Although if Zentrum's leaders realize they lost votes due to Socialist influences, and throw away their socialist-loving policy, we may very well see their party be saved. So far, the majority of voters have shown their disdain for the socialists.

Yeah some are rp'ing as if it is, probably why I haven't said much myself to the notions of parties being hijacked or infiltrated . Can't wait until tomorrow

For a sensible Germany, against the Marxist menace! Deutsch Konservative Reichspartei!
Also, I haven't exactly read all ten pages between the election post and now, but I get the feeling that anti-socialism alone isn't enough to unite the LVP and DKRP. They *are* supposed to be two opposite sides of a coin. They can always team up to uphold anti-socialism in the next vote on the laws without being in coalition, and it seems Zentrum isn't united in it's support for ending the Anti-Socialist Laws either. I'm sure there are a few angry Catholics somewhere in Germany shouting about godless Bolshevism :p

Can't remember exactly atm, but didn't Conservatives (the Center-right ones) create a government with the Liberals (the central left ones)? It isn't that much of a stretch... isn't it?

I'm fairly certain that the DKRP and LVD would form a coalition, if the DZP has been infiltrated by socialists.
